PAC

Heii there guys..
It's been a week after the easter...
So today i'm gonna tell you about
The PAC modern
This is the camp which the Crew joined before the Poreotics founded, and they also met at this division..
A division of Pilipino American Coalition or PAC at California State University, Long Beach. It was founded by a small group of friends in hope using dance as an outlet for the expression of today's youth.
Originating as a mere pre-show act for PCN- PAC Culture Night, an annual theatrical production that exhibits the culture and history of the Philippine Islands through acting, dance, and song- in 1995, PAC Modern has grown into unstoppable force, earning respectable name within a fierce and competitive dance scene.

Besides the PAC modern there's also Kaba modern, but this group not included the Poreotics.
Kaba Modern is a dance group originating from Irvine,California. Kaba Modern is a spin off of the University of California, Irvine Filipino cultural club, Kababayan, which means "countrymen" in Tagalog. Created by Arnel Calvario in 1992, Kaba Modern began as dancers that performed the hip-hop portion or the "Modern Suite" of Kababayan's annual Pilipino Cultural Night (PCN) at UCI. Since then, Kaba Modern has entered multinational competitions and gained recognition in the media. For instance, few Kaba Modern members helped choreograph the "dance battle" scene in The Debut in 1997 while 3 members were shown onscreen during the Making of Featurette of the DVD.
The Kaba Modern family is divided into three sub-teams. Kreative Movement (formerly known as Kaba Kids) are for members 18 and under. Kaba Modern is the UCI competitive team for college-level students. Kaba Modern Legacy is an exhibition team for Kaba Modern alumni and special guests. The KM Legacy Roster includes all 6 members that appeared on MTV's America's best dance crew (Mike Song, Jia Huang, Cindy Minowa, Tony Tran, Yuri Tag, and Lawrence Kao) and several other Kaba Modern legends who no longer dance for the UCI team.

Well that's some information for today, hope you enjoy it and this is a video of Kaba Modern..
Cao for now

ElecTRONica

Heii there..
It's almost Easter, though. Just waiting for the resurrection of the Christ...Then I'm gonna say Happy Easter.. eheheh..
So, why i choose this title, because the Poreotics just uploaded their new video at ElecTRONica. It's not some kind of music or something like that, but ElecTRONica is an event. Well, here some little explanation about it,
ElecTRONica is a nighttime event at Disney California Adventure Park, part of the Disneyland resort in Anaheim, California. Located in the Hollywood Land section of the park, ElecTRONica premiered on October 8, 2010. The attraction features music, dancing, beverages and a re-creation of Flynn's Arcade from the Tron franchise.

Where they begin?
Conceived as a tie-in to the 2010 film Tron:Legacy, ElecTRONica is a successor of sorts to GlowFest, a nighttime dance party that took place at Disney California Adventure during the summer of 2010. Disney held an open call in September for hip-hop dancers with martial arts experience. ElecTRONica debuted on October 8 and was originally scheduled to run until April. It was then extended through Labor Day, and Disney later announced the event would continue through Spring 2012.Mad T Party, a similar show that will be based on Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland will replace it, beginning in Summer 2012.
Featuring
While scenes from Tron: Legacy are shown across building facades in the Hollywood Land area, a grid-likeDJ platform makes up ElecTRONica's centerpiece, as a live DJ plays electronic dance music from such artists as Daft Punk. They also got Laserman appearing at the stagewho performs tricks set to music with lasers and lights. A new version of the show premiered in June 2011; titled "Laserman: R3CONF1GUR3D", it features new choreography as well as music from the Daft Punk remix album, Tron: Legacy Reconfigured.

End of Line Club
Flynn's Arcade

Based on the night club located inside the Grid during Tron: Legacy, the End of Line Club serves glowing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Among the alocholic options are Glowjito mojitos and blinking Digitini martinis. Non-alcoholic choices include Coca- Cola Zero and Laser Light Lemonade. A nearby food truck offers nachos and chocolate cake.

In this replica of the arcade seen in the Tron films, guests can play 1980s video games such as Tron, Battlezone, Centipede, Donkey Kong,Pac-Man, Pole Position, Red baron and ZaxxonFlynn's Arcade also houses what Disney Imageneer Craig Pierce claims is the world's only coin-operated version of Space Paranoids, a game that had previously existed in the original Tron film. All games require a token, or the equivalent of a quarter, to play. Located just outside the arcade, guests can play the 2010 Tron : Evolution game.
And Poreotics also often featuring in this event..

And lately they were perform again with some new concept, here a video of them
They were performed on April 2nd 2012 #still fresh, though
Love their new concept, very cool..
So, if you go to California, especially Anaheim don't forget to visit the ElecTRONica at Disney California Adventure Park. Maybe you can meet the Poreotics.. ahahhaa
Farewell then, hope you satisfied with the info... Cao now, And Happy Easter guys!!!

Fuck yeah Dumbo

Heii guys...
Guess what... Last week was Dumbo's birthday, actually i'm sorry not tell you earlier.
As we know Dumbo's bornday was on 25th March so it's celebrated last sunday.
All right here some fetch of his birthday
This is the Miniotics, gave a cake to their "Daddy" during the practice..
Perfect moment..
Oh yeah...
About the biodata of Poreotics i forgot to tell you about one person,

Chad Mayate, real name is Andrew Chad Fausto Mayate was born on Ocotober 30th 1989 in Long Beach and raised in Torrance CA. Chad always loved to dance but mainly focused on sports growing up. In high school Chad got his first taste of learning choreography and popping during his sophomore year at South Torrance High school but didn't dance again until the end of his senior year because of basketball. It wasn't until college when Chad finally got serious into dancing, and even know he was getting himself into.
During his freshmen year in college, Chad attended the PAC Spring 2008 auditions just to spectate and watch his friends take class and audition. They convinced him to learn the routine just for fun and even talked him into auditioning. Being thrown into auditioning without proper dance training experience is pretty nerve-reckoning. Chad auditioned and blanked out at the start of the routine and just freestyled knowing he wouldn't make the team. PAC modern ended up adding Chad to their roster based on potential. Since then Chad was about to train properly and learn about all of the dance elements as well as get introduced into dance community. During the fall of 2009 the original 3 Poreotics Dumbo, Can, and Charles auditioned and made it onto PAC Modern. Chad was able to train and learn their style through routines and just getting to know the guys. During the summer of 2009 Chad was asked to subtitute for Jet Li for Hip Hop International 2009 while Jet Li was in Korea. After winning 1st place in the adult division for USA, Chad was inducted and made the 6th member of Poreotics. From there on Poreotics had continued to win many dance conmpetitions as well as making it onto and winning Americas Dance Crew Season 5 as well as reclaiming their title as 1st place in the USA during Hip Hop International 2010 and taking 2nd in the world. Chad was named the Poreotics Lucky Charm.
Even until now Chad still considers himself a student of dance specially knowing that he hasn't been dancing for as long as the others in the crew have. He still tries to train all of the other  dance styles but is thankful that he is able to experience all of the adventures that he has endured with his Poreotics brothers and is currently confusing on trying to clarify and hone his own while learning from his brothers and learning the roots of hip hop. Chad is truly thankful for everyone that has helped him along his way in becoming a dancer and getting him to where he is know, especially his number one family.
So i didn't put the picture of Chad because i got an internet problem again..
But as the change this is a video of Can and Dumbo doing a robotics..
Cool move...
Ok.. bye then....

Way Back

Back again!!!
Heii there, how's your goin.??Well.. get into the point,  Actually i wanna talk about the members, although i've told you before...
But now i'm gonna tell you more detail about them, and maybe there will be some adds information..
So, Just enjoy it...
Start from Dumbo again...

As you know Dumbo is the founding member of Poreotics, was born March 25th, 1989 and attended Ranco Alamitos High School where he graduated in 2008. Dumbo interesting in dancing at age of 16th, ironically after watching after watching the street dancing flicked, You got flicked. After observing different styles of hip - hop, Dumbo found he wanted to create his own style, something  that had never seen before. Though his favorites styles included popping, freestyling and choreography, he had never seen them put together by a unified crew, he came up with a funk style in choreography in robotic feel, that soon become the stamp of Poreotics.
While in high school Dumbo enjoyed experimenting with hair, which led him to play at Paul Mitchell the school in Costa Mesta, where he still currently attending. He also did most of the crews hair for their performances during season 5 of ABDC. Dumbo trademark nickname comes from his awkward talent of moving his ears back and forth, rather impressively, without hesitation. In his spare time Dumbo enjoys playing football, fishing and working his car.

Then here's Can, was born on October 8th, 1990 in Garden Grove ,CA.
After moving to Gardena, CA. Can returned back to Garden Grove where he attended the Garden Grove until he graduated in 2008. Can was a member of the high school marching band and played trumpet for all four years of high school. During band class his freshman year, asked if he was interested in joining the high school Hip-Hop Club. In addition to learning all about the hip hop culture, Can learned how to breakdance.
After joining became an avid dancer, and though he had never any formal training, he learned everything from having sessions with other dancers in his backyard. Can dance with Pac Modern and Animision, but it wasn't until December 18th 2007 when he received a text from Dumbo, the Poreotics was born.
In his free time Can like to produce and mix and work on his art.

It's Charles Viet Nguyen, used to called Charles was born on October 16 1989 in Long Beach, CA amd attended Bolsa Grande High School in Westminister, where he graduated in 2007.
Charles began doing high school dance performances his sophomore and junior year for fun, but fell in love with Hip - Hop as a result. He met Can at church, who introduced him to popping, when he was 15th and later asked to be one of the original three members of Poreotics. At first Charles practiced popping, and later began taking classes when he joined Pac Modern in fall of 2008. Charles says his memorable moment while on ABDC season 5 was winning. I thought we weren't going to win, So I was enjoying my last minutes on stage.
When not dancing Charles enjoys playing volley ball, eating, and watching his favorite show, Family Guy. Charles is currently enrolled at Golden West college and his major is Education where he hopes to one day be a middle school or high school teacher.#wow.. nice goal, just hope for being taught by Charles.. XDLOL.
His motivation for dancing comes from this words "Dance with your hearth, dance how you feel, that's how you know the dancer is real.#great quotes though..

We go to Law now,  Lawrance Law Devera was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where he fell in love with the art of hip-hop dance. Grow up in a very family oriented environment, he was first introduced to bboying at the age of 15th by his older cousins who always got down at the family gatherings. Then in 2006, although Lawrance active in high school academics, clubs, and sports, he had a new found passion for dance pushing him to join a junior dance troupe called Future shock LA where he decided to challenge him self to do hip-hop choreography. This was the spark that influenced him to later represent crews and other teams such as Culture Shock Los Angeles, Pac modern, Freedom Jungkis, SPAM, Choreo Kingz, Inside the box, Boogiezone Breed and Americas Got Talent Season 3s  Sickstep. Although he was studying to become an X-ray technician, he still has a strong passion more from what dance has taught him.
In the fall  of 2008, Lawrence was then recruited into Poreotics for the Americas Best dance Crews season 3 auditions, Unfortunately, the group didn't make it onto ABDC season 3 or the season after, but in that time they were still hungry and went on to win 2009 Championship title for the USA Hip - Hop International Finals  , as well as other competition such as Breakthrough Dance Competition and World of Dance. Finally the crew was fortunate make it onto ABDC Season 5  and through a tough and exhausting journey on the show, they pushed on to win the Season 5 championship titled, Since then Lawrence has never been more thankful and blessed to be living the dream that he aimed for without expectation.
Lawrence considers him self a student everyday and hopes to inspire and entertain audiences with every performance. He is thankful that new generations have also grown  to appreciate the art of dance as he did and gratefully respects the pioneers and that soon he wiil fulfill his hope to be able to support his own family in the future.

Move to Jet Li, Justin Jet Li Valles has been dancing as long he could remember. From the days of his childhood he always interested in dance, even though did not know really how to. It was not until he learned his first Bboy steps living in New Jersey at age 7, from his older friend, when he started breaking. Once internet made its appearance he became exposed to the style called popping. He would find any possible venue to show off his moves to his peers, school dances, gym class, lunch... No one stopped him from dancing as he would not stop either. However once Justin moved back and began living in Los Angeles, his interest in dance slowly grown into a pursuit of dance profession.
In high school Justin befriended and met many dancers, with the friend he met he decided to join crew called Tang Klang. One of the founders of the crew was the well known Robert Muraine a.k.a Mr. Fantastic from So You Think You Can Dance. The crew would travel around different parts of LA to battle with other dancers at other high schools. It was with this crew Justin came to be known as Jet Li as his appearance resembled that of the martial arts superstar. From the on Justin entered in many dance battles and competitions and affiliated him self with the popping crew Funny Bones. It was also during this time he joined the non-profit dance company Culture Shocks that training in learning counts and doing choreography had begun. It was also during this time Justin met Law and Dumbo who also began dancing with the Future Shock Culture Shocks Youth team. Through the years and with better experience Justin became the Assistant Artistic Director for the team.
As time passed Dumbo decided to create Poreotics and had invited Justin to be part of it. After Poreotics won the ABDC, Justin has been travelling and performing across the US and various parts of the Globe such as Canada, Australia, Russia, South Africa and the Philippines. He also had opportunity to work with arist Justin Bieber and Usher, also Bruno Mars. And made in the Ellen Show Disney Shake it Up. Justin always Strives for more constantly practicing and improving his craft to better him self and share with those around him.

Well. That' all for today guys.. Hope this really worth for ya'll
